Beginner Lessons
These lessons are for beginner students with little to no riding experience. Lessons are 1 hour long, and include essential aspects such as safety around horses, getting to know your horse and how to handle the horse, all of which are essential requirements when starting your equestrian journey.
Approximately 30 minutes will be spent riding in each lesson, and in subsequent lessons, as well as riding and groundwork, students will learn how to tack up their horses and care for them.
These lessons are held in the safety of an open-air arena.

Group Lessons
Group lessons are for students with some riding experience who are comfortable on a horse. Lessons are 1 hour long and students are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to their lesson in order to help tack up and prepare their horse. Beginner riders may move into a group lesson once we feel they are able to trot and steer their horse on their own, and meet our safety requirements.
Group lessons have a maximum of 4 students per group, but the number of students per group lesson varies. We try to group riders together, based on their level of riding experience. These lessons take place in an arena, although we offer outrides as well. Students who take weekly lessons will do one outride per month, subject to approval.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are 1 hour long and are perfect for those students who want an individual one-on-one lesson with an instructor. This is the fastest way to improve your riding skills and build your confidence. Please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson to tack up your horse. These lessons generally take place in an arena, although we offer outrides as well. Students who take weekly lessons will do one outride per month, subject to approval.

Beach Private Lessons
These off-site lessons are about 1 hour long and involve a ride to the beach and back, which is an unforgettable experience. We usually do these rides in the morning or at sunset, as it’s too hot for the horses during the day.
These lessons are not for beginners, as you have to be able to control your horse on the way to the beach and the beach can sometimes be busy.
Please arrive at your lesson 15 minutes early so that you can help tack up your horse. We will assess whether a rider is competent enough to do a beach ride before we depart.

English Jumping Lessons (Group & Private)
English jumping lessons are offered as both group and/or private lessons.
If you take 1 lesson per week it will either be flat or jumping, depending on what the instructor thinks is best for the student that day.
If you take 2 lessons per week you will have one flat lesson and one jumping lesson.
If you take 3 lessons per week, you will have one flat lesson, one jumping lesson and the third will be either or, based on what the instructor decides.
If you take 4 lessons per week, 2 will be flat and 2 will be jumping.
Western Lessons (Group & Private)
This is considered by many as a preferred discipline and is often easier to pick up. We, unfortunately, do not teach barrel racing, only basic Western riding.
Western lessons are taught as both group or private lessons, just talk to us about what you are interested in and/or we can help you figure out what is best for the student.
